KYLESA Seek New Drummer
June 27, 2005Savannah GA's crust-metal-punk hybrid KYLESA have parted ways with drummer Brandon Baltzley and are currently seeking a replacement. "We have plans to go to Europe in the fall and then do a U.S. tour after that," the band write on their web site. "We've got friends filling in so we're covered and everything is still happening.
"We are going to try people out this summer in Savannah, Georgia. If you are interested and are serious, get in touch. Keep in mind that we are a serious band who tours all the time. This will pretty much be your life until the rest of us are sucked into space and taken to the mysterious planet Zolar.
"This is what we are looking for: a drummer who hits very hard who can play a myriad of styles and is well versed musically ...not limited to one or two beats or one genre. Must like heavy music, of course. Wants to tour a lot...experienced peeps would be best but not a must...not everyone can handle, or is into, life on the road
wouldn't mind living in Savannah...however, we are rarely ever home...our home is the van and the stage and the after parties. We do all live together and have space for another person. Drum set isn't a problem."
KYLESA's most recent CD, "To Walk A Middle Course", was released in March via Prosthetic Records. It was produced by Alex Newport (MELVINS, AT THE DRIVE-IN, NAILBOMB, THE LOCUST).
